Christopher's Promise has developed into an organization committed to continuing to help more kiddos get on bikes and just be kids. Welcome to Christopher's Promise.

TO ALLOW ALL KIDS, DESPITE PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS, THE ABILITY TO EXPERIENCE THE SAME HALLMARK CHILDHOOD MEMORIES AS THEIR PEERS. HELPING KIDS, BE KIDS.

The Promise

CHRISTOPHER BUZINSKI

Christopher is a teenager facing struggles with Neurofibromatosis, Cerebral Palsy, and Optic glioma (a form of brain cancer). After realizing circumstances like this exist, Christopher's Promise aims at making the typical childhood experiences accessible to all children.

Meet Logan

"...Logan was born with a complex congenital heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). By 11 months old Logan had endured 3 open-heart surgeries to repair her heart. Shortly after the third surgery Logan suffered a large stroke affecting the frontal and parietal areas of her brain that involve speech and motor."

Socially the bike would facilitate inclusion with her peers, allowing her to ride with her 2-1/2 year old sister and neighbors.

Meet Connor

"...In 2014, an MRI revealed that Conner had a brain tumor. Three days later he was admitted to Nationwide Children's Hospital and underwent a 12 hour procedure to remove the tumor."

Meet Kaleb and Mia

"...Kaleb and his sister Mia were diagnosed in November of 2013 with a neurodegenerative illness called Late Infantile Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis, also known as Batten Disease. Batten disease is a fatal, inherited disorder of the nervous system".

In so Many Ways: a Regular Boy and a Regular Girl


Kaleb is a sweet, happy and playful 5-year-old little boy who enjoys life. Mia is a happy, cheerful and playful 6-year-old little girl who loves life.
